DCII’s generous donation to the Kavakdibi Village School near Batman, Turkey funded school improvements to benefit preschool, primary, and middle school students. Improvements included purchasing and installing two water tankers for clean drinking and washing water; digging and fencing a water well; purchasing a refrigerator, two 8-drawer classroom cupboards, 30 preschool classroom chairs, four computers, and one photocopier/printer; providing a complete set of state-mandated library books and planting trees around the school. In addition, every student received a coat and boots for protection against the cold winter weather.
